The Kramer FC-340 is a scaler, scan converter, and audio embedder and de-embedder that fits in a 1RU 19" rack space. It supports SD-, HD- and 3G-SDI digital video, AES/3id digital audio, and balanced analogue audio. In addition, it features an auxiliary composite analogue video output will operate simultaneously with the SDI digital video output.
The primary application for the FC-340 is to convert a source video signal so that it conforms to your output requirements. This may mean changing the resolution, changing the frame rate, or a combination of both. In addition, it can embed digital audio from AES/EBU (AES/3id) sources in the SDI stream and can also de-embed SDI audio to both digital and balanced stereo analogue outputs.
