Designed as an upgraded version of their Quick Edge, lansky's Deluxe Quick Edge Camo Knife Sharpener features a large, molded, non-slip rubber grip for maximum comfort and control in either hand. It also has a finger guard and thumb rest for safety, and a lanyard hole for easy attachment to a belt or pack. The green camouflage pattern helps the Deluxe Quick Edge blend in if you're working in the woods and need to remain discreet.
The tungsten carbide sharpening surface is V-shaped with angles pre-set at 22.5° to achieve a 45° inclusive angle. Drawing the blade across the sharpener 3-4 times with light pressure will give most kitchen, work/utility, and outdoor/hunting knives a razor-sharp edge. Very dull blades will require a little more work but should reach the desired sharpness in under 10 strokes. The tungsten carbide sharpening inserts are reversible and replaceable.
