Edit HD, 4K, stereo 3D, and output to your favorite codec or upload directly to social media with Lightworks Pro Professional Video Editing Software - perpetual license. Able to take advantage of GPU acceleration, Lightworks can natively edit a range of codecs, notably ProRes, DNxHD, AVC-Intra, DVCPRO HD, RED R3D, DPX, AVCHD, H.264, XDCAM EX, and more - you can even mix and match different formats and resolutions in the same timeline. With proper GPU hardware, many effects can be applied in realtime as you edit. For those things that can't, background import and background rendering are provided, letting you keep editing while other tasks complete behind the scenes.

For monitoring and the ability to capture non-file based video, Lightworks is compatible with a range of I/O cards from Blackmagic Design, Matrox, and AJA. You can also monitor 3D footage in a variety of formats, with the ability to send different stereoscopic methods to different displays. Project sharing allows multiple editors to work on the same project at once while all staying on top of the latest version. File permissions can be set within Lightworks on a per user basis.

Once complete, video can be uploaded directly to the Web in H.264 or exported in a number of formats. In addition, EDLs and metadata can be exported in case to project is to be picked up in another application.
