The 8x8 XEHD SD/HD-SDI Digital Video Routing Switcher with Stereo Audio Follow from Link Electronics switches various signals, including SD-SDI, HD-SDI, and supports data rates from 50 Mbps to 1.4 Gbps. It incorporates input cable equalization up to 1000' for SD, 500' for HD together with output lock regenerators for optimum jitter performance for data rates of 143 Mbps, 177 Mbps, 270 Mbps, 360 Mbps, 540 Mbps, 1.483 Gbps, and 1.485 Gbps. Users can also mix SD and HD signals within one single frame.
Multiple control interfaces include RS-232/422, TCP/IP, CAN and C-BUS and it has a 10/100 Base Ethernet connection. These units also feature a redundant power supply system along with balanced stereo audio follow. The intuitive front LCD display and buttons ease local control. Additionally, it features a 2RU frame.
