The user manual for the Marani DPA3655QR-T 3 x 6 Input / Output Speaker DPA3655QRT provides
necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Pro Audio - Installation Sound - System Processors.
The DPA3655QR-T 3 x 6 Input / Output Speaker Processor from Marani features 3 analog inputs, a stereo digital input, and 6 analog outputs. The 3 input levels are displayed by rows of 6 level LEDs and a 1 clip LED. The 6 output levels are displayed by rows of 5 level LEDs, a 1 clip LED, and 1 limiter LED. Each input has 5 filters and each output has 5 parametric filters. Both input and output filters can be selected to be bell, 1st / 2nd order shelvings with -3 dB at cutting frequency, symmetrical shelving with variable Q, or HP / LP with variable Q, 1st / 2nd order. It also has an all pass (90 / 180° phase rotation at the cutting frequency), bandpass, and a notch. The outputs X-over section has Butterworth, Lin / Reyl,, and Bessel filters up to 24 dB/Oct or custom selectable HP / LP with up to 24 dB/Oct cascaded Iind Ord cells adjustable in frequency and Q. It also has an RMS compressor with selectable ratio up to 32:1 and adjustable soft / hard knee.
An output peak limiter with THR in Vp or dBu offers loudspeaker protection. The RMS compressor and peak limiter's THR can range up to -30 dBu. Each input and output channel has delays up to 850 ms, with steps of 22 µs. Also, linking functions between inputs, and linking functions between outputs are available. The function allows having ramps closing the output level on parameter changes, when the device is used as an installation unit. This function can be excluded when the unit is used live and it is necessary to perform small changes to the set parameter on the fly. The PC software for the remote control enables connecting in net up to 32 units and allows showing the phase of the filter setting. It also allows graphical adjustment of the RMS compressor and the peak limiter. Furthermore, the remote control of the DPA3655QR-T Processor adds TCPIP connection.
