This B&H Kit consists of the Marantz PMD 661 MKII Professional Portable Flash Field Recorder, two conference-style tabletop super cardioid boundary microphones with XLR connectors, a package of four AA batteries, and a carrying bag. The four AA batteries are inserted into the portable field recorder to provide the device with power. The two supercardioid boundary microphones connect to the field recorder via XLR connectors and draw +48V phantom power each to operate. They can be placed on a stage or table to capture the sounds of performers or the persons in a conference room, which can in turn be recorded to the flash field recorder. Both the recorder and the pair of microphones can be stored and transported in the carrying bag.
