The OR-CP2 Orchid Color Probe Kit from Marshall Electronics is the companion calibration tool for use with all Orchid monitors for automatic color calibration. This kit comes complete with everything you will need to perform LCD white balance calibration as well as monitor firmware upgrades. It includes the OR-CP2 Calibration Probe, the OR-SM Service Module, the RS-232 Serial Cable for Use with OR-CP2, a USB Cable for Use with OR-SM, and a 9V 6LR61 (PP3) Battery.
The calibration procedure is as easy as plugging the probe and service module into the service slot of the Orchid monitor you wish to calibrate and selecting the calibrate function from the Color Probe sub menu. The calibration process is automatic and quick, completing the adjustments in less than 1 minute.
