An elegant solution for converting a 3G-SDI video signal into a USB 3.0 compatible signal, the Marshal SDI to USB 3.0 Converter with Embedded Audio Support supports video up to 1080p60 as well as 1920 x 1200. It features one USB 3.0 output that is backwards compatible to work with computers that only support USB 2.0 (with reduced video format support).
The device is hot pluggable and uses UVC and UAC drivers, so it is Plug-and-Play with Windows 7 & 8.1, MAC OS X 10.8 and above, as well as select Linux installations. The device is powered via your computer's USB host port and features power and working indicator lights. Small and lightweight, the converter is easy to take along on location. It has been tested to work with Skype, Microsoft Lync, Go To meeting, and other video recording / editing applications.
