The DigiSlim DXA-2F-5 Bi-Directional 2-Channel RS-422/ Bi-Phase / Manchester Data Transceiver Card from Meridian Technologies incorporates digital encoding technology. This fiber-optic module transmits and receives 2-channel bi-directional RS-422, Manchester, bi-phase data over one fiber. For proper operation, it is necessary to match the DXA-2F-5 Side A card with the associated DXB-2F-5 Side B card. It can be installed in Meridian card / desk chassis or 19” racking frames. The system can be configured in either star (module-to-rack) or trunking (rack-to-rack) configurations. This transceiver can be converted to a standalone module with the separately available SR-1000 2-Slot Desk / Wall Mount Chassis (87 to 264 VAC).
