The Middle Atlantic FC Series Thermostatic Stand-Alone Fan Control FC-4-1C is a proportional, thermostatic fan controller that extends equipment life and reduces service calls by regulating the temperature of your enclosure. It can vary the fan speed of up to four (4) fans based upon ambient temperature.
The fan controller has three temperature ranges and can be set to operate the fan proportionate to the current temperature, or to operate at full speed when a designated threshold has been reached. This UL Listed device can be turned on and off via a local switch that includes LED status lights. The fan controller can be mounted on rack rail brackets or any flat surface (and is also available as an MPR series module).
A temperature probe with a 5 ft. wire comes standard with this unit. This controller has been designed to work specifically with Middle Atlantic fans, although it will function with fans that have similar specifications. It is finished in a durable, min-spangle galvanized steel and has a maximum load capacity of 1amp/120V. This model has been designed to function as a stand-alone unit, although it may be rack mounted if desired with integral mounting flanges.
