necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Pro Audio - Location Sound - 2-Way Radios.
Modeled after CB radios, the Midland Micro Mobile MXT100 2-Way Radio is designed to be used in your car, truck, RV, or UTV vehicle. The set includes a head unit with microphone and built-in speaker, a flip-frame detachable mount, and a magnetic mount antenna so you have everything you need to add GMRS communication to your ride. Installation is easy, and you can utilize the 12 VDC socket for power, or hard-wire the unit directly into the electrical system. The antenna mounts quickly to any magnetic surface. You can remove the radio from the mount when not in use to hide it from would-be thieves. A mini jack permits you to add an external speaker for more volume.
The Micro Mobile MXT100 features 15 GMRS channels; and transmits using 0.5 watts of power on low, while high uses a full 5 watts. Privacy codes, 142 in total, ensure you can find a channel and code combination free from other users. Monitor mode lets you keep an ear on two channels at once, while channel scan continuously seeks out chatter to keep you informed. Auto-squelch helps with tuning so you get the clearest transmission possible. Digital volume control keeps the sound level right where you need it, and keystroke tones can be turned off for silent operation. The backlit LCD screen allows for daylight or night use.
