Utilizing a quad-stream x4 chipset, the Netgear AC2350 Nighthawk X4 Smart Wi-Fi Router delivers a fast Wi-Fi connection up to 1.7 Gbps with the 5 GHz band and a combined speed of 2.33 Gbps with the 2.4 GHz band. This router features wave 2 technologies that provide 802.11ac speeds and is equipped with four detachable Beamforming+ antennas, which focus the signal to boost the speed, reliability, and range of your Wi-Fi connections. When connected to multiple devices with the router, Dynamic QoS automatically recognizes the applications running on these devices such as gaming, web surfing, and video streaming and prioritizes them appropriately. To help manage all these features is the Qualcomm 1.4 GHz dual core processor that offers multi-tasking performance with the number of connected devices, apps, services, and file transfers from attached storage devices.
The Netgear AC2350 comes with four gigabit Ethernet LAN ports and one gigabit WAN port to create a secure, fast, and reliable wired network connection. For other wired connections, it has twin USB 3.0 and eSATA ports for connecting external storage drives so you can enjoy wireless, wired, and remote access to you media stored on the drives. With an optional attached drive, you can schedule backups to safeguard files from any Windows computer connected to the network via the included ReadyShare Vault PC software. In addition to sharing media, the router also lets you share a USB printer.
Setup and configuration of the router is made simple with the setup wizard that you can access with a tablet, smartphone, or a computer. The Nighthawk X4 offers guest access that ensures users only gain access to areas of the network they are permitted to access. Other safeguards are also supported such as VPN, parental controls, WPA/WPA2, and more for protecting your network from intrusion. This router even offers the NETGEAR genie App to monitor, control, and repair your home network from a smartphone, tablet, or computer. Included with the Nighthawk X4 are a power adapter and Ethernet cable.
