The user manual for the Night Optics iPhone 4/4s or 5/ 5s Adapter Plate CAM-IP provides
necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Optics - Night & Thermal Vision - Camera & Optics NV Adapters.
The anodized aluminum iPhone 4/4s or 5/5s Adapter Plate for Select NVD from Night Optics holds your iPhone 4/4s or 5/5s in place for attachment to select night vision devices. Using this adapter plate requires a Night Optics adapter ring (available separately). Together they provide secure attachment of your iPhone to your NVD eyepiece and ensure a precise alignment between iPhone camera and the night vision optics.
To use this plate in your Night Optics digiscoping adapter and start taking photos or videos, you need to attach it to the eyepiece via the adapter ring. To do this, remove the NVD eyecup. Unscrew the segmented ring from your adapter's retaining ring and clamp it around the eyepiece with threads facing outward. Reconnect the retaining ring to the segmented ring and attach the adapter plate to the assembly.
Also included with this adapter plate are a shimming pad and a threaded locking ring.
