The user manual for the Nipros FS-805 8-Channel Field Mixer FS 805 provides
necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Pro Audio - Location Sound - Field Mixers.
The FS-805 8-Channel Field Mixer by Nipros Teleproduction Equipment is for blending sounds. It is used in various environments in audio applications such as for videographers, sound designers, reporters, and more. It features 8 XLR Mic/Line inputs with 48V phantom power, volume control, limiters, and a low cut filter on each channel. The low-cut filter has a frequency range adjustable from 20Hz to 300Hz. A master limiter is also available at the output for maximum flexibility.
The FS-805 is built with an illuminated front panel VU meter to easily identify readouts in dark environments. A flexible meter scale that is switchable between VU and PEAK is provided for users to identify exact recording levels. The mixer has 2 XLR master outputs, 2 XLR sub outputs, and 1 stereo pair of RCA sub outputs. It is also built with 3.5mm and 1/4" headphone outputs. This mixer is powered by DC or AC power and provides a 12 VDC output for camera power. An intercom system is built-in and provides 2 BNC connectors with a headphone monitor volume control. An external I/O is provided on an HD D-sub 15-pin connector. The AC power cable is included.
