Designed for professional broadcast monitoring, the Nipros HDF-700 7" Color LCD Viewfinder features an 800x480 resolution and is configurable to meet a wide range of applications. It support resolutions up to 1080p30 over HD/SD-SDI and component video inputs, and provides advanced monitor functions such as peaking, waveform and vector scope displays, and on-screen audio level meter.
For multi-camera setups, an HD/SD-SDI return video signal can be input to the monitor. This allows the camera operator to see the program video or picture from a second camera on the monitor. Built-in return signal control allows you to switch between the two video feeds with an optional remote zoom lens controller. As a further aid to multi-camera shoots, a tally input is provided for showing the REC tally status of a camera on the built-in front and rear tally indicator lights.
Up to 16 channels of embedded SDI audio levels can be displayed and monitored on screen. The monitor features an SDI loop through output for passing source signals, included the embedded audio, to an additional device. You can also use the two XLR audio connectors to generate an analog audio output signal from the embedded SDI audio. For power, the monitor accepts 12VDC through an XLR 4-pin input. The monitor comes included with a location/desktop stand, tilt arm, universal mount head, AC adapter and power cable, P-Tap cable, BNC cable, and mounting hardware.
