The Dual SLX 800xi Video Light Combo with Dual 12" Flex Arm and Tray from Nocturnal Lights is an underwater video lighting package. It contains 2 SLX 800xi Video Lights with Hybrid Adapter, 2 12" (30.5 cm) Flex Arms, and 1 12" (30.5 cm) tray. Each light produces 800 lumens of daylight color light that will allow you to simulate the natural colors of sunlight--no matter where you are. About twice as bright as 10 W HID lights, these video lights are also very reliable. Say goodbye to expensive replacement bulbs, malfunctions, flickering bulbs and problems "firing up." Each light has three 3 W (9 W total) LED bulbs, which run at a cool temperature, allowing the light to be used above and below the surface. Each light also has a lantern handle with a 5/16" (0.8 cm) hole that can be used to attach the included Hybrid Adapter. This adapter allows you to connect the light to both a 1.0" (2.5 cm) ball arm system and arms that use a YS mount. It works with all ball joint and flex arm adapters. 3, 6, 9 or 12 AA batteries power each light. Using all 12 batteries, you get 16 hr of burn time, with maximum output for a full 4.5 hr.
The aluminum housing, double o-ring seal and shockproof LEDs make the SLX 800xi very durable, even under the most extreme conditions. The switch lock prevents your light from being accidentally turned on while in your dive bag, thus safeguarding you against wasting battery life. These lights will bring back your subject's natural colors, some of which are lost underwater due to the ocean acting as one large, blue filter.
This combo pack comes with 2 sets of 3 12° Internal Light Reflectors, which mount over the 3 LED bulbs on each light to provide a tight 12° beam angle perfect for use as a dive light. Also included are 2 sets of 3 60° Internal Light Diffusers, providing a soft 60° beam angle ideal for focus or video lighting, and 2 sets of 3 90° Adapters, which move the aluminum plate that secures the bulbs up about 1/4" (0.6 cm). This eliminates the halo effect created by overlapping light sources. The SLX 800xi Video Light Combo fits on all underwater housings with 1/4-20 screws on the bottom.
