The AC-1361 Tripod with BA-117 Ball Head Kit from Oben is a camera support that extends to 68.4" with its center column fully extended and folds down to 27.6" for transport. Flip locks on the 3-section legs facilitate rapid setup and break down. Three leg angles (24°, 55°, and 80°) are available via angle adjustment tabs at the joint of each leg.
The center column is adjustable with a twist of the butterfly knob and can be split in two to use as a short column for macro and low angle shooting as low as 10.6" from the ground. With the center column reversed, you can place your camera at ground level. Any combination of leg angles can be combined to accommodate uneven terrain, stairs, or obstructions. A built-in bubble level helps you align your composition. For extra stability, you can hang weight from a spring-loaded ballast hook on the center column. A strap mount enables attachment of an optional shoulder strap, and a foam leg grips add comfort when carrying.
The included BA-117 Ball Head is a simple ball head with one locking knob to control all motion. The knob allows you to unlock the ball so that you can quickly orient your camera properly, retighten the knob, and return to shooting. This enables fast setup changes, and frees you to keep a finger on the trigger while you're making a quick adjustment to the head's orientation. The head has a 90° notch which facilitates shooting in portrait orientation. One bull's eye and three tubular bubble levels ensure your camera is level on both the horizontal and vertical axes.
The included quick release plate has a retractable video pin, and attaches to your camera via its standard 1/4"-20 screw. With your camera attached to the quick release plate, it easily snaps and locks into place on the ball head, and a safety lock on the release lever prevents it from being accidentally released.
