User manual for the Optex iVision Door Unit IVP-DU
The user manual for the Optex iVision Door Unit IVP-DU provides
necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Surveillance - Intercoms - Door Stations.
The iVision+ Door Unit from Optex is a video and audio intercom unit for one residential or commercial entrance door. Featuring a doorbell, camera, microphone, and speaker, it mounts next to your entrance door and allows you to see who's there on a separately sold iVision+ Handheld Unit from the convenience of inside your home or office. Up to two of these door units and up to four handheld units can be combined together into one system. The handheld unit has a display screen as well as microphone and speaker so you can see who's at the door, communicate with the person, or choose to ignore them. When you're unavailable and don't answer, the iVision+ takes up to three photos of your visitors and sends them to the handheld unit for storage.
IR LEDs around the camera allow the camera to clearly capture who's at the door at nighttime, as long as there's at least a little light outside. This door unit is battery operated by three AA batteries, not included, and supports a 330 ft line of sight transmission range. It can also be hot-wired to work off AC/DC power instead of batteries. It mounts near your door using its own back plate and screws, and it's splash proof against rain and similar outdoor conditions.
For even further convenience, the iVision+ system can also be integrated with the iVision+ Gateway Unit or Wireless 2000 Unit to enable remote door release capability, provided appropriate hot-wiring.
