The OWC / Other World Computing Mercury Elite Pro 1-Bay Storage Kit features a stylish and flexible aluminum enclosure that supports installation of your favorite 3.5" Serial ATA (SATA I/II/III) hard drive up to 6TB. The Mercury Elite Pro is equipped with next-generation high-speed Oxford 944 and Oxford 3100 Chipsets, which are compatible with eSATA, FireWire 800 and USB 3.0 connectivity. The single USB 3.0 port offers data transfer rates up to 300 MB/s. The single eSATA port also supports transfer rates up to 300 MB/s. The dual FireWire 800 ports facilitate 100 MB/s transfer rates. Plus, the USB 3.0 port is also backwards compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 interfaces.
