The Recessed Low Voltage Media Plate with Duplex Surge Suppressor from Peerless Industries provides a smart solution for routing low voltage component cables such as HDMI or RCA behind your flat panel display, amplifier, or any other audio / video device. Surge suppression is provided via the integrated Copper Wiring Devices SurgeBloc unit. Also provided is a 15A / 125V duplex receptacle that allows you to discreetly power your devices from behind the flat panel display mount.
A low profile design allows you to install the plate behind the slimmest mounts and flat panels. All component cables are routed from inside the wall, thus providing your audio / video equipment a clean look. The Recessed Low Voltage Media Plate with Duplex Surge Suppressor incorporates surge suppression capabilities that protect your audio / video equipment from power surges due to lightning strikes, motor loads, as well as RFI (Radio Frequency Interference). You are alerted about surge suppression failure via an alarm.
Owing to the slim design, there is no need for cable covers. With molded mounting wings that attach directly to your dry wall, you do not need additional low voltage mounting brackets.
