The configuration tools of this recorder allow you to easily install the IP cameras without any license fees. All the recorded footage can be easily stored on the equipped 1 TB hard drive. Furthermore, USB 2.0 JBOD External Storage supports up to 8 TB. The DS ControlPoint software (not included) allows you to connect this hybrid video recorder to a Digital Sentry system and other compatible DX series HVRs/DVRs. It offers you the liberty to simultaneously view live recording and aids in controlling the camera via the recorder.
