The Pelco REL2064 is relay unit designed to activate peripherals like locking a door or turning a light on or off from a Pelco CM6800 matrix switcher. Up to sixty-four relay devices can be connected via single-throw (SPST) dry contact outputs, with contacts configurable for normally open (N.O.) or normally closed (N.C.) operation.
Communication with the main switcher is via an RS-485 communication interface using Pelco's proprietary M protocol. For expansion purposes, up to four of these units can be cascaded together, providing multiple relay contact points on a single CM6800 M-port connection. A built-in memory function allows relay groups to retain their contact position in the event of a power failure or front panel reset. This unit ships with integrated rack ears for mounting in a standard 19" rack (1 RU high).
