Clip your compact, mirrorless, or small DSLR to your waistband or belt with the classic silver Scarabaeus Premium Camera Holster System from PhotoScarab. This well made holster has an aluminum core, stainless components, and to prevent scratches, premium leather on the surfaces that contact your camera. A beautiful holster, it's available with brushed stainless, bronze oak, or exotic, gold afzelia wood accents. Made in Germany, fit and finish are quite excellent, as one would expect. Cosmetically, this clip pairs well with both vintage and current model top of the line cameras.
Installation is straightforward and simple. First attach the camera plate to the 1/4" tripod socket on the bottom of your camera. Use the included Allen key to insert the countersunk screw. Next clip the holster onto your waistband or belt. Last, pull the locking pin upward, open holder, slide the camera into the holster and push the locking pin back down. Now your camera is securely connected to the clip, with your lens pointing away from your body. This position has the advantage of keeping the camera's weight flush with your body, and the disadvantage or precluding the use of longer lenses, which due to their size might be easily bumped.
