The PortaBrace Black 15 Lb Sandbag (Empty) supplies the weight to stabilize your valuable equipment. Fill the bag with sand and you have 15 lbs (6.8 kg) that can be attached to light stands, camera tripods, etc. using the rings, hooks and loops to put the weight exactly where you want it. No need to worry about sand leaking out--the bag is double-lined. There are 2 kinds of web handle lifts: a "fly-away" handle that lifts away from the light stand, preventing a spill; and a normal lift handle. The bag is shipped without sand.
