The Presonus FireStudio Interface with Eris E5 Speakers Small Studio Bundle is a B&H Kit that combines a FireWire interface with a pair of powered, two-way speakers. The recording interface has enough analog inputs and outputs to cover a large drum kit or a small band using six microphone/line inputs and two microphone/instrument inputs, each with XMAX Class A solid-state preamps. The two microphone/instrument channels have insert loops for adding outboard effects.
The rear panel sports eight general-purpose outputs and a pair of left/right main outputs. Additionally, stereo S/PDIF and MIDI I/O are included. The two Eris E5 powered monitors each feature a 5.25" woofer mated with a 45W amplifier, along with a 1" silk-dome tweeter powered by a 35W amplifier. A rear-panel interface provides gain and tuning controls for adapting the speakers to a variety of acoustic environments.
