The VTrak J630sS Expansion Chassis from Promise Technology is a 16-bay expansion chassis with a 3U rackmount. It supports both SAS and SATA hard disk drives with speeds of 6Gb/s and 3Gb/s. It can also run any variatons of SAS and SATA hard disk drives or solid state drives simultaneously. It also has dual hot-swappable power supplies. These 80PLUS bronze-certified power supplies provide up to 85% power efficiency. This expansion chassis has a single active/active SAS JBOD I/O module, which has a total of two 6G mini SAS (4x) ports.
