User manual for the Pulsar L-915S Infrared Flashlight PL79075
The user manual for the Pulsar L-915S Infrared Flashlight PL79075 provides
necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Optics - Night & Thermal Vision - Magnifier Lenses & Protection.
The L-915S Infrared Flashlight from Pulsar increases the effectiveness of night vision devices by adding infrared illumination using a 915nm Class 1 eye-safe IR laser. The beam size and intensity level and beam position are adjustable, allowing a user to find the best illumination for any specific situation or object. The intensity level is adjusted by rotating a dial next to the ON button. The beam size can be focused from a narrow spot light to a broad flood by turning the hood at the front of flashlight. Focusing the laser to a narrow beam illuminates a smaller area, but will illuminate to a greater distance. An unfocused, wide flood will not illuminate as far, but will cover a much broader area. To maximize the light's additional illumination, the beam position can be centered in the night vision device's field of view. A green LED indicator turns on when the IR laser is activated, and when the batteries run low, the indicator changes to red.
