User manual for the Pulsar Quantum HD19S 16mm Thermal Monocular PL77313

The user manual for the Pulsar Quantum HD19S 16mm Thermal Monocular PL77313 provides necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Optics - Night & Thermal Vision - Thermal Imagers.

The black Quantum HD19S 16mm Thermal Monocular from Pulsar is intended for detection and monitoring of heat emanating from wildlife, game, animal stock, faulty wiring and piping, structural and insulation defects, running engines and human bodies. With this device you can see those heat sources through fog, smoke and haze. The imager features a micro-bolometer sensor with a resolution of 384x288 pixels, and 7.7µm to 13.2µm spectral sensitivity. It is capable of displaying thermal images at a frame rate of 30 Hz using a built-in 640x480 pixel OLED display, an external monitor or a recording device.

The optical system features a 16mm f/1.2 germanium lens that provides 1.1x optical zoom and allows for a wide angular field of view. If you need a close-up of your target, the camera also has a digital zoom of 2.2x . While opaque in the visible spectrum, the germanium lens has high transmission in the long infrared region, which makes it ideal for thermal imaging.

The housing is made of lightweight and durable glass-nylon composite and has a texture with coarse deep groves to allow a good grip. The control buttons are arranged in a staggered configuration to for an easy reach and one-handed operation with either left or right hand. This thermal imager can also be mounted on a tripod via a top or a bottom 1/4"-20 sockets. Additionally, it has a Weaver style mount adapter for connecting accessories. The objective is outfitted with a flip-out objective lens cap to protect the germanium lens from damage and elements. The eyepiece has a diopter adjustment and a rubberized winged eye-cap. Also included are a carrying case, a hand strap, a car adapter, an extra battery container, and a lens cloth.
