The QGenie 7-in-1 Mobile NAS from Qnap is a mobile solution for file storage, backup, and sharing on the go. It also doubles as a portable battery backup for mobile devices and allows you to wirelessly extend the storage space for mobile devices. It can act as a wireless access point (AP) for sharing Internet access, as well as a power bank for charging your mobile devices, allowing you to create a mobile personal cloud.
This mobile NAS is equipped with a 32GB of SSD storage, a 600 MHz MIPS 24KEc processor, 64MB of RAM, and 16MB of flash memory. It uses 802.11n Wi-Fi connectivity to achieve wireless transfer rates up to 150 Mb/s, while a 10/100 Mbps Fast Ethernet port allows for wired connectivity. It is also equipped with one USB 3.0 port, and one SDXC card slot. It operates using the QGenie operating system and is compatible with Windows, Mac, Linux, and UNIX.
The QGenie can be activated with a single push on its slide switch, allowing you to access and share a large collection of files via a unique Wi-Fi SSID. All of the files on the QGenie can be synchronized automatically with your Turbo NAS once connected to a PC or Mac with Qsync enabled. The QGenie has a battery capacity of 3000mAh battery, which allows up to 10 hours of use before recharging is required. Included with this mobile NAS is a USB cable. it is protected by a limited 2-year warranty.
