The Qnap VS-2108L VioStor 8-Channel, 2-Bay NVR Kit with 8TB Storage from B&H provides you with an NVR system for up to eight IP cameras and 8TB of internal storage built for 24/7 surveillance use. The kit includes the Qnap VS-2108L VioStor 8-Channel, 2-Bay NVR and two WD 4TB Purple Surveillance Internal Hard Drives.
The VS-2108L NVR allows you to simultaneously live-view, playback, backup, remotely access, and perform administrative tasks without have to stop recording. It supports up to 30 fps recording per channel and compression up to H.264, depending on your cameras. Cameras connected to the local network are automatically detected. Multiple recording modes are available, including continuous, scheduled, motion-detection, and alarm. The native software is compatible with Windows and Mac OS and remote access is available through most web browsers, including Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, and Firefox, as well as through the remote app for Android, iOS, and Windows mobile devices.
Two internal 3.5" bays are provided, each supporting drives up to 4TB in size. The two WD 4TB Purple Surveillance drives included in this kit offer 8TB of internal storage and are built to meet the demands of 24/7 surveillance applications. Other features of the NVR include multiple user support, Smart and Edge recording options, intelligent video analytics, and E-Map support.
