This B&H Kit combines the QSC TouchMix-8 Compact Digital Mixer with four microphones and four microphone stands to form the primary components of a live sound PA system. The TouchMix-8 is a 12-input digital mixer that features 8 built-in mic preamplifiers and can be controlled by its integrated touchscreen or wirelessly via an iPad connected to the same wireless network. The mixer features a DSP-based 4-band parametric EQ with variable high- and low-pass filters, a gate, and compressor on each input channel. The TM-8's DSP also provides reverb, echo, delay, and chorus effects in addition to assignable pitch correction.
The four vocal microphones feature a wide dynamic range, an on/off switch, and durable metal construction. Each microphone's cardioid polar pattern is able to pick up most sound from in front of the microphone and some sound from the sides of the microphone, making it less susceptible to feedback in high volume settings. Included with each mic is a 15' / 4.6m XLR to XLR cable, a microphone clip, a threaded adapter, and a carrying pouch. The four tripod microphone stands are constructed from durable steel and feature a 31.5" boom arm that allows you to angle the mic however you need it. An ergonomic twist-action clutch helps adjust the height of each stand, while the reinforced tripod base and non-slip feet keep it firmly and sturdily in place.
