The user manual for the QVS HD-C5IRB HDMI Audio/Video (720p/1080p) over Dual HD-C5IRB provides
necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Professional Video - Signal Processing & Distribution - Video Extenders & Repeaters.
The HD-C5IRB HDMI Audio/Video (720p/1080p) over Dual CAT5e/6 Extender Kit with Bi-Directional IR Control from QVSincludes a transmitter unit and a receiver unit. The transmitter sends the video and audio signals received from the HDMI or DVI source device to the receiver unit via two CAT5e/6 cables (sold separately). The HD-C5IRB extender kit provides bi‐directional IR pass‐through path. With 8-level digital signal equalization control on the Receiving unit, you can adjust the signal level equalization scale to the received audio/video signals to optimize transmission distance between the source and the display.
This extender kit boosts your audio/video transmission distance up to 200' in HDTV 1080i format, 130' in HDTV 1080p format, and 65' in HDTV 1080p with 36-bit color depth. You can extend HDTV sources from DVD players, Blu-ray Disc player, PS3, PC, and any other kinds of sources compliant with TMDS to distant display monitors including HDMI or DVI enabled TV sets or LCD PC monitors via 2 CAT 5/6 cables. The HDMI-C5IRB also features embedded IR input and output on the transmitter and receiver units so you can control the source device or HDMI display at remote site via IR remote in bi-directional IR pass-through. The HD-C5IRB includes an IR transmitter & IR receiver, mounting screws, and a universal locking power adaptor.
