The 58microLite HD 5.8 GHz Mini Transmission Kit from RF Central is a portable, broadcast-grade HD/SD-SDI MPEG-4 COFDM wireless transmission system that supports resolutions up to 1080p at 30 fps. The kit is comprised of a transmitter, receiver, and the necessary antennas and power cables. Based on COFDM modulation and operating on the 5.8GHz band, the system is capable of delivieriny non-line-of-sight transmission, with a line-of-sight transmission range up to 10,500' using optional extended range receiver antennas.

At the heart of the system is the microLite HD Transmitter, which is compact and lightweight at only 8 oz, making it ideal for UAV applications as well as live news-gathering, reality TV, EFP/OB, and other live event coverage. It can be mounted directly to your camera's shoe mount and offers twelve selectable presets to quickly change channels and operating parameters. Settings can be configured through the Windows-based graphical user interface.

The microLite Receiver is a dual-diversity COFDM receiver that uses maximal-ratio combining technology to enable line-of-sight as well as non-line-of-sight applications. The Receiver features MPEG-4/MPEG-2 auto-detect video and embedded audio decoding and comes in a compact, self-contained package for portability. With no block down converter or complicated interconnects, the receiver is quick to setup and easy to use.
