The user manual for the RigWheels Passport Camera Dolly PCD1 provides
necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Professional Video - Tripods, Supports & Rigs - Cine Dollies & Track Systems.
The RigWheels Passport is an all-in-one, heavy-duty dolly system designed for travelling production professionals. Coming in at a flight ready 50 lb, it includes a collection of rails and camera support accessories that configure into various length dollies for loads up to 100 lb. All the components fit neatly into the included Pelican 1610 case, which features wheels and a wheel handle for simple transport.
Eight 19" rail sections are included and can be connected together to up to 6.3 ft of track. The rails are rigidly constructed from high-grade 6061 aluminum and connect seamlessly via threaded ends. At the full length of 6.3 ft, the rails have less than 1/8" of flex with a 40 lb load placed at the center. Optional 40" rails (available in a set that totals to 10 ft of track) can interchangeably be used for even longer track lengths.
With an included support axel attached at each end, the track can be placed on top of various objects or directly on the ground. Camera support accessories include a multi-threaded, large mounting plate and 100mm and 75mm tripod head ball adapters.
