The PD-125XS from Roland is an electronic drum that's been designed to be used with TD series sound modules. Both the mesh head and the rim have separate sensors. When used with the TD-9, TD-12, or the TD-20 sound module, both sensors can fire simultaneously for a more accurate representation of the interaction between the head, rim, and the strike of your sticks. When used with the TD-4, TD-8, or TD-10 sound module, just the mesh head sensor will be active.
