The X-large black Sterling Jacket for Men from ScotteVest consists of a cotton and nylon blend, is medium-weight, and machine-washable. It features 24 pockets, including a large pocket compatible with an iPad or tablet, and a quick-access pocket designed for most point-and-shoot digital cameras. The camera pocket also contains an internal MyMemory pocket for carrying extra memory cards. There is a small change pocket, a small bluetooth headset pocket, an internal ID pocket, a pocket for travel documents, and two pockets for holding pens. An elastic loop allows you to carry bottles in an upright position, and an RFID-blocking wallet pocket protects your credit cards and passport from skimmers. There is an eyeglass pocket that contains a cleaning cloth attached to an elastic cord for cleaning your glasses, and an extendable key holder for securing your keys. Two clear touch fabric pockets allow you to use a touch screen device such as an iPod, without removing the device from your pocket.
The jacket includes a personal area network for conveniently listening to music without tangling or losing your headphones. The network includes earbud pockets just below the front collar for storing earbuds when they are not in use, collar loops for guiding your headphone wires and holding them in place, and a collar connect which hides your wires in a conduit system located in the collar of the jacket. Staggered interior and exterior pockets enable you to fill all of the pockets at the same time without the contents overlapping, and the jacket's hanging pocket design minimizes bulges. The shoulder area is designed with a weight management system to evenly distribute the added weight from your devices, and discrete pocket icons are sewn into the interior of many of the pockets, providing suggestions for the appropriate usage of each pocket. A Teflon fabric protector repels liquids and creates a strong outer layer for long lasting wear.
