The Snake River BlurFix3/3+ Micro 52 Filter Adapter for GoPro HERO3/HERO3+ allows you to mount standard 52mm threaded filters to the GoPro HERO3 and HERO3+ action cameras when you are not using the housing. The adapter will work with any filter type you like.
Two filter types you may find particularly useful for video are neutral density (ND) and polarizing filters. ND filters can be helpful in bright situations by cutting the amount of light the camera sees. This will reduce the camera shutter speed which helps to create more realistic motion blur and may reduce the appearance of some of the so-called "jello effect" caused by the GoPro's "rolling shutter" sensor. Polarizer's are used to reduce unwanted reflection in glass and water and also help increase sky contrast, making clouds stand out from the background for more vivid outdoor shots.
