The Sony HDR-AS200V HD Action Cam Camping Kit with Live View Remote from B&H is an action camera package purpose-built for campers, backpackers, and other outdoor enthusiasts. The kit features the Sony HDR-AS200V, a versatile splash-resistant camera that records 1080p video up to 60 fps, and includes a Joby GorillaPod flexible mini-tripod for mounting, RM-LVR2 Live View Remote, an extra battery, and a solar panel USB battery pack. With its bendable lens and rubber grips, the GorillaPod can be used on uneven terrain and even wrap itself around tree branches and other objects around camp. The flexible and compact solar panel USB battery pack is included to recharge camera batteries during your multi-day trips. The solar panel's dual on-board batteries can be charged in about 10 hours using the sun's energy, and features a scroll-like design that can be rolled up for compact storage. Rounding out the kit are 64GB and 32GB UHS-I microSDHC cards.
In addition to 1080p video up to 60 fps, the HDR-AS200V can also record 720p video up to 120 fps and standard definition 480p video at up to 240 fps for slow-motion playback. Video can be recorded using web-friendly MP4 or professional-quality XAVC S codecs. It also takes up to 8.8 megapixel still photos in single-shot or burst modes. For remote monitoring and control, the camera features built-in Wi-Fi connectivity for pairing with a mobile device or the included RM-LVR2 Live View Remote. Apart from being splash proof, the camera includes a 16.4'-rated underwater housing, an adhesive mount, and one battery to get you started.
