This version of Sorenson Media Squeeze Desktop 10 Standard is an upgrade from Squeeze 7 and Older for educational institutions, employees, and students as well as for government agencies and employees. Though most NLE software has some facilities for transcoding video, nothing beats a dedicated solution. Sorenson Media Squeeze Desktop 10 Standard boasts wider codec support and in many cases faster encode times than one will see with encoders built into editing software and is designed to seamlessly integrate with Final Cut Pro 7, Premiere Pro, and Avid Media Composer. New features of note for version 10 include, the VP9 codec replacing VP8 for up to 50% lighter files, Multi-Rate Bundle Encoding to save time, HLS encryption where security is paramount, and two preliminary 4K presets. This copy of the software is an electronic download, single-user license.
