User manual for the SPL Crimson USB Interface / Monitor Controller SPLCRIM
The user manual for the SPL Crimson USB Interface / Monitor Controller SPLCRIM provides
necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Pro Audio - Computer Audio - Audio Interfaces & Systems.
The 1250 Crimson USB Interface and Monitor Controller from SPL combines a USB interface with studio-quality preamps and a separate, fully-featured monitor controller. You can play and play back, record and convert, control and listen with one single device. S/P-DIF, analog XLR, 1/4" and mini jacks give this unit the connectivity required for home and professional recording setups alike.
It features a maximum of six recording and six playback channels with 10 source connections and up to 20 monitoring channels. The Crimson contains two discrete microphone preamplifiers and two, Hi-Z instrument preamps. There are also two headphone amps for silent monitoring or A/B-ing headphone and speaker playback. The 1250 connects and can control two stereo speaker sets and the monitor mix can be switched between the recording and DAW return paths.
The Crimson also features an individual artist monitoring signal and includes a talkback option. And the user can hot-plug an iPad for recording and/or monitoring.
The interface controller is designed to operate with your Digital Audio Workstation. But you can also do a lot with it as a stand-alone device such as plug in an instrument and play, or connect a microphone and sing along. Mix your own monitor signal with playback or guide tracks from any source - including your smartphone.
The Crimson USB and Monitor Controller contains a combination of useful audio tools, all in one user-friendly unit, that can be utilized with good results by many project and pro studios.
