The military-specification Steiner 7x50 Military R Binocular is a favorite of special operations and law enforcement units worldwide.  It also makes for a no-nonsense universal binocular for extremely dark situations, with fully multicoated optics that yield >90% total light transmission.  Steiner's revolutionary "Sports Auto Focus" system gives expansive depth of field from 60' (18.3 m) to infinity once set to the user's individual eyesight.  Eye relief is a lengthy 22mm for comfortable extended observations even with eyeglasses.  The 7x50 Military R is equipped with a M-22 style military reticle, useful for military, marine, hunting and other rangefinding applications.
