The user manual for the SureFire HL1-A Dual Output LED Helmet Light (Desert Tan) provides
necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Optics - Outdoor Gear - Headlamps.
The desert tan HL1-A Helmet Light from SureFire is a versatile hands-free light that provides white or blue light with an IR IFF beacon for identification to friendly forces using NVDs. The light features three white LEDs offering up to 19.2 lumens for tasks, or two blue LEDs with a maximum output of 2.5 lumens for a reduced light signature. The light output is controlled using two toggle switches. The first switch turns the IR IFF beacon on and off. A second switch controls the white or blue light and turns them off. A pressure switch on the face of the light controls the intensity of the light chosen. Pressing the button cycles through the low, medium and high levels. When attached to the helmet, the light can be rotated 360° with 20 click-stop positions to precisely put the light where it is needed. Built for durability, the light is o-ring and gasket sealed to be waterproof.

| Subject: My issued surefire iff | | Date: 10.02.2017 19:27:28 | Author: Donnie Chaney | I was issued the helmet light but the red light no longer works I tried tried new surefire batteries but nothing. I use it when I am in the field. I am a team leader in the Montana national guard infantry unit. and any help will help.
