User manual for the Swift M3702CB-3 Cordless Binocular Microscope M3702CB-3

The user manual for the Swift M3702CB-3 Cordless Binocular Microscope M3702CB-3 provides necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Optics - Microscopes - Microscopes.

The M3702CB-3 Cordless Microscope from Swift is a three-objective microscope with a 45° inclined binocular viewing Siedentopf head. The three objectives are 4x, 10x, and the retractable 40xR. They are located on rotating turret with a ball bearing mount. The retractable 40xR objective has a spring-loaded lens which will retract when it touches the slide thereby protecting the lens and the slide. Both the turret and the included objectives adhere to the DIN microscope objective standard which enables you to use any commercially available DIN objective with this microscope without worrying about it ever becoming obsolete.

The microscope features semi-plan objectives which reduce color and field distortions introduced by imperfections in optical elements. Reducing these color and field distortions allows you to see images with better color fidelity and have uniform focus covering 80% of the field of view. The parfocalled and parcentered design allows for switching objectives without having to realign your sample and without losing focus. The coaxial focusing system has separate fine and coarse controls. The 18mm wide field 10x eyepieces have an interpupillary and diopter adjustment.

The LED illumination system has adjustable brightness which is controlled by a rheostat. It delivers light intensity equivalent to that of a 20W incandescent bulb. The light from the bottom LED emitter is focused on the sample with a 1.25 NA Abbe condenser.

The 5.75 x 4.75" mechanical stage has adjustable height, a slide holder and allows you to move specimen slides in X-Y plane with precision. The frame of the microscope is made of metal and has a handle for carrying.

Included with the microscope are three rechargeable AA NiMH batteries, a battery charger, a wall adapter, a vinyl dustcover, and a Allen wrench. To recharge your microscope's batteries, just connect the microscope to the wall power adapter.
