The TASCAM HS-2000 2-Channel Audio Recorder is a professional solid state recorder designed for the needs of broadcast and post-production studios, housed in a 2U rack-mountable chassis.
The unit enables you to record and playback time stamped Broadcast WAV files at up to 96kHz 24-bit resolution, along with Timecode from an SMPTE input source for synchronization, editing, and identification. The unit records the audio onto one or two CompactFlash memory cards for a redundant backup.
The recorder features balanced XLR outputs, a separate balanced XLR monitor output, and Confidence Monitoring for near instantaneous playback in professional broadcast applications.
The unit can be controlled by its TFT tilt touch screen display, D-Sub parallel, serial RC-220, Ethernet, and by RJ-45 port with the optional TASCAM controllers RC-HS20PD or RC-HS32PD.
