User manual for the TeachLogic PA-1060 AirLink Transmitter/Titan-Neo Delay PA-1060
The user manual for the TeachLogic PA-1060 AirLink Transmitter/Titan-Neo Delay PA-1060 provides
necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Pro Audio - Live Sound - Portable PA Systems.
The PA-1060 AirLink Transmitter/Titan-Neo Delay System Package from TeachLogic is designed for use with the Titan-Neo Powered Companion Speaker. It comes equipped AirLink Transmitter (ALS-960) and 2 Powered Companion Digital Delay Companion Speakers (PA-815). The included ALS-960 AirLink Transmitter can transmit to any of the portable Titan systems equipped with a matching receiver module. The AirLink router allows you to take a line level signal from your mixing console or playback device (DVD, iPod), plug it directly into the AirLink transmitter, and then broadcast that audio to a distant AirLink receiver or multiple receivers. The AirLink system operates on the 640 to 664 MHz band and has 96 available channels to select from. It can be incorporated with the diversified receiver for transmission of a composite program for an extended distance in excess of 500.0’ (152.4m) with clarity and reliability. Whether the need is to get audio signals to an overflowing crowd at a special event or send the announcer’s voice across the football stadium, the AirLink Transmitter/Titan-Neo Delay System can get the message across with ease by the use of RF transmission. Tests have been performed through multi-story buildings from the lobby to the upper conference room, from a press box to cross-field component sound systems and various concession booths, or from outdoor program stage to distant Titans with UHF receivers. Transmission distance in excess of 500.0’ (152.4m) has been achieved in direct line of sight with high level of clarity and connectivity. It also functions as a very handy 2-channel mixer by combining the aux line level input and the 0.25” (6.35mm) mic input. This allows both pre-recorded program material and a live microphone to be broadcast at an event with no additional mixing equipment required. With the addition of the DD-750 Digital Delay Module, the system becomes PA-815 Two-Powered Companion Digital Delay Companion Speakers. The DD-750 Digital Delay Module is installed in the companion speaker and is interfaced with the DR-800 Wireless Receiver Module. The output of the receiver is passed through the delay module in route to the power amplifier. The purpose of the delay module is to store the signal momentarily and then pass it through to the amplifier input. The delay time can be varied from 20 to 500 ms thus synchronizing the sound output with the master unit on stage.
