The PA-885 Titan Neo Sound System with Wireless Bodypack and Headband Microphone by TeachLogic is a modular, compact, and portable sound system package for music playback and voice reinforcement. The Titan Neo can be powered by internal batteries and is housed in a rugged enclosure.
The basic system is comprised of a 50W power amplifier, a control panel, and a rechargeable battery power supply with a battery level indicator. Microphone, line, bass, treble, and master volume controls are featured in the control panel. The rechargeable NiMH batteries provide 6-8 hours of use at moderate sound level. Alternatively, the Titan Neo can be plugged into AC for continuous use.
When the "priority" function switch of the control panel is on, the music volume is automatically lowered to 15dB while speaking into the microphone. The system includes an Airlink wireless microphone receiver for use with the included headband bodypack microphone, as well as a CD / MP3 player for playback of CD / flash drive. The Titan Neo is equipped with a neodymium bass speaker and a high frequency horn.
The PA-885 comes with an AirLink transmitter module and a PA-810 companion speaker package, which includes a second AirLink wireless receiver and a second PA-800 portable sound system. The AirLink receiver transmits the composite program from one Titan Neo to the other, which is equivalent to having a powered remote speaker without a cable connection.
The system also includes a drop-in bodypack battery charger, 2 tripod speaker stands, and 2 Titan Neo carrying bags.
