Tele Vue's Tele-Pod Alt-Az Telescope Mount is a convenient, easy to use, travel mount for telescope OTAs up to about 76mm for astronomical use, and 85mm for terrestrial. The Tele-Pod combines the size, weight and flexibility of a photo tripod with the smooth, balanced altitude/azimuth motions of a yoke-and-cradle mount head. Tension-adjustable axes provide smooth motion for finding and tracking subjects without the need to constantly work locking knobs. Its offset tilt axis avoids interference between head and tripod.
