This splitter is HDCP compliant, compatible with HDCP-protected devices such as select Blu-ray players and cable boxes. No software is required to get started; just plug the splitter in, plug your HDMI cables in, and flip on the power switch. HDMI cables are sold separately in various lengths, with 15 ft being the length that commonly fully preserves the signal.
