This B&H Kit combines the Thecus N12000PRO 12-Bay Enterprise-Class NAS Server with twelve HGST 4TB HUS724040ALE640 UltraStar 7K4000 Hard Drives. This kit provides users with a large storage space of up to 48TB, as well as a balanced mix of performance and reliability.

Driving the N12000PRO NAS server's performance is a 3.4-GHz Intel Xeon E3-1275 Quad-Core processor. It also features 8GB of DDR3 RAM which helps ensure that even the most complex queries are executed without a hitch. It has a 2U rackmount form factor and is also configured with two USB 3.0 ports, six USB 2.0 ports, an HDMI port, 8 / 4 / 1-lane PCI slots, four hot-swappable system fans, and three Gigabit Ethernet ports. The Gigabit Ethernet ports also support 10GbE aggregation.

The twelve 7K4000 Enterprise Internal Hard Drives provide ample space for satisfying any business' data and cloud storage needs. Each hard drive features a SATA III 6 Gb/s interface and a 64MB cache buffer, allowing for fast access and read/write speeds. You can also configure the drives in a variety of RAID formats, including RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, 60, for performance, redundancy, or a combination of both. For those who don't require RAID, the drives may also be configured as JBOD.

The Thecus 48TB (12 x 4TB) N12000PRO 12-Bay Enterprise-Class NAS Server Kit operates using 700W redundant power supplies. It is compatible with Windows, Mac, and UNIX/Linux.
