The T Series T1 IR filter eliminates the Far Red/Near Infrared contamination that can appear in photographs due to certain industrial dyes used in fabrics. With the T1 IR filter in place, you can capture subtle red hues, and the camera can deliver crisp blacks and wide color gamuts with minimal light loss of 1/2 stop.
The filter is manufactured using ColorCore technology—it is made from optically pure water white glass, and then is put through a lamination process that grinds and polishes both surfaces to achieve perfect parallelism, consistency, and worry-free handling. This filter is also included in the Far Red Control Kit (sold separately).
